CASE STUDY — LEWES, EAST SUSSEX
Undercliffe House is a Grade II-listed neo-Gothic home, built in 1865. Arthur Grace developed a destination hospitality proposition around the architecture, its setting and the experience of staying somewhere genuinely singular.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Undercliffe has the elements that cannot be replicated: a neo-Gothic silhouette, tower views, grand interiors and private grounds in Lewes. The work was to turn those qualities into a clear, contemporary hospitality proposition while respecting what made the house special in the first place.

THE BRAND BUILD
Arthur Grace created a dedicated Undercliffe House identity and direct digital presence—bringing together a website, gallery and booking journey with premium messaging shaped for the property itself.
The brand gives the house a considered voice beyond a listing: a destination for short stays, celebrations, corporate time away, photoshoots and film productions.
THE EXPERIENCE
Use photography, positioning and a direct journey to lead with the home’s scale, history and setting.
Position the house for destination stays and occasions where privacy, experience and character matter.
Stay close to presentation, guest experience and the small decisions that protect the brand every day.

“The goal was not to make Undercliffe look like every other luxury stay. It was to make its character impossible to miss.”
THE WIDER PLATFORM
Undercliffe shows how Arthur Grace combines property, brand and operations to create a more valuable experience around a distinctive asset.
